Candidate School Solidarity Phonebank

It will take all of us.

Nine exceptional unionists are mounting grassroots campaigns against incumbent local politicians across Victoria. If we elect real working people, working people can have representation in local government. Being working people, people who have stood up and led in our workplaces, in our communities.

These working candidates are teachers, ushers, fitter and turners, community care workers. There are things union members don't walk past, and together we can fight for the things  Our candidates will change the way we see government, elections and change the way we see politics. It will take 100 of us to get one of us in. Change isn’t always quick, but it is always necessary.

Campaigns are thousands of conversations - and that's how we win.

Sign up to make calls to people to find out what they want in to see change. Whether its to make sure their child will still read their first book in the local library, to the swimming lessons in the local pools, to making sure aged care does not go into private hands in this pandemic.

Sign up to support Candidate School candidates in local elections in 2020, by making calls, being part of our social media teams, our letterboxing squads.
